Easy Garlic Lime Shrimp

This garlic lime shrimp recipe is one of my favorite ! Its so simple, but very flavorful with the lime juice and garlic. Cooked in one pot and it only takes 10 minutes to make! The best kind of recipe when you want an “easy to make” meal that is also tasty.

one pot Garlic Lime Shrimp Recipe

Garlic Lime Shrimp

Yield: 12-15 shrimps; Serves 2 as a main

Instructions 

  • Prep ingredients according to the ingredient list.
  • In a large skillet over medium high, add the butter and cooking oil. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the stock, add a pinch of salt and plenty of black pepper and bring to a simmer. Let the broth reduce for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the shrimp and sauté about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Stir in the sugar, soy sauce, lime juice and chili flakes. Cook until the lime sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
  • Serve the shrimp with the sauce in the pan, the remaining lime wedges and enjoy
