Garlic Lime Shrimp (Easy Recipe)

Ingredients You’ll Need
- large shrimp
- unsalted butter
- cooking oil
- garlic cloves
- seafood stock
- chili flakes
- granulated sugar
- low-sodium soy sauce
- lime
- salt & black pepper

This garlic lime shrimp recipe is one of my favorite ! Its so simple, but very flavorful with the lime juice and garlic. Cooked in one pot and it only takes 10 minutes to make! The best kind of recipe when you want an “easy to make” meal that is also tasty.

Tools You’ll Need

Garlic Lime Shrimp
Yield: 12-15 shrimps; Serves 2 as a main
- 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 Tablespoon cooking oil
- 4 large garlic cloves, peeled and minced
- 1/2 cup seafood stock or broth
- 12-15 large raw shrimp; thawed, remove shells and devein
- 1 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 Tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- Juice from half a lime (use the other half for serving)
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
- salt & black pepper
Instructions
- Prep ingredients according to the ingredient list.
- In a large skillet over medium high, add the butter and cooking oil. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the stock, add a pinch of salt and plenty of black pepper and bring to a simmer. Let the broth reduce for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the shrimp and sauté about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Stir in the sugar, soy sauce, lime juice and chili flakes. Cook until the lime sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
- Serve the shrimp with the sauce in the pan, the remaining lime wedges and enjoy
