Ingredients to make Peanut Sauce
Our peanut sauce is very easy to make and tastes delicious on almost anything! We use low-sodium soy sauce, smooth peanut butter, honey, fresh lime juice, hot water, hot sauce, toasted sesame oil and freshly zested garlic which adds a delicious kick.

We drizzle the peanut sauce on top to keep the tofu crispy! Enjoy this tasty tofu dish with noodles, rice, in a tortilla wrap and more!

Crispy Tofu with Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
2 servings
- 4 oz extra firm tofu; drained, dry with paper towels and cut into 3/4 inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled & zested
- 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice (Lemon juice works great too )
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 tsp- 2 tsp hot sauce or sriracha(depending on your spice tolerance)
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Prepare the ingredients according to the ingredient list above.
- In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey, lime juice, low sodium soy sauce, hot water, sriracha, sesame oil, and garlic. Mix well and set aside.
- Add 1/4 cup cornstarch onto a plate. Place the tofu cubes on the plate and gently mix until every side is coated. (do in batches if needed)
- Drizzle in the cooking oil in a large nonstick pan over medium high heat. Once hot, tap any excess cornstarch off and add the tofu to the pan. Cook the tofu about 10 minutes, flipping the tofu often getting all sides lightly fried. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to preference
- Drizzle the peanut sauce on top of the crispy tofu and serve with noodles, rice and more!
