Slow Cooker Honey BBQ Chicken (Easy Recipe)

This recipe is so simple and so tasty . All you need is honey bbq sauce, chicken breast, garlic cloves and a slow cooker! I got the bbq sauce from Safeway for $2.50! That is a great deal and normally the Signature Select brand is a hit.
We enjoyed the pulled chicken with a bowl of mashed potatoes and greens. Or you could add it to a potato bun for a delicious pulled chicken sandwich! Add it to a salad, there are unlimited way to enjoy this recipe

Shredded Honey BBQ Chicken
servings: 2-3
Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1/2 cup honey bbq sauce (I love the Safeways Signature Select Brand)
- 3 garlic cloves; peeled & minced
- Optional: salt & pepper
Instructions
- Add the chicken breast to the slow cooker.
- Pour the honey bbq sauce and the minced garlic over the chicken breasts and coat completely .
- With the lid on, cook on LOW for 5 hours flipping halfway through.
- Using 2 forks, shred the chicken in the slow cooker until evenly shredded and the chicken is coated with the bbq sauce. Optional: Season with salt and pepper if desired
- Serve and enjoy!
