I found this Panda Express Kung Pao Stir Fry Sauce at my local Safeway & had to try it. In our household, we love stir fries, anything that’s super easy to make but also delicious. So having sauces on hand like this is always helpful.

What is Kung Pao Sauce
Kung Pao sauce is generally sweet, savory and can have heat from the dried chilies and Sichuan peppercorns.
I did enjoy Panda Express’s Kung Pao Sauce! It does have a nice bit of heat paired with a delicious savory flavor. Marinating chicken with this sauce would be delicious.

How to use Panda Express Kung Pao Sauce
Fry up some chicken, tofu or pork; add some stir fry vegetables like broccoli, bell peppers, mushrooms and give it a toss with this sauce. Serve it with some white rice and you’ll be set! I tried making a Kung Pao Noodle Stir Fry and it was so good! Full Recipe below

- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
- 2 cups stir fry vegetables, chopped into bite size pieces (I used green beans and carrots)

- Optional: chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Prep instructions based on the ingredients list above.

- Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat, add the chopped shallots and sauté 2 minutes. Add the ground meat, breaking up the meat and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the meat is browned. Add the stir fry veggies and cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook until veggies are tender and meat is completely cooked. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 more seconds.
- Add the cooked noodles, Panda Express sauce and honey. Stir everything together for about 1-2 minutes(use a fork to help loosen the noodles). Top with chopped peanuts and enjoy!
