This tasty recipe is the ultimate dessert, making it the ideal for birthdays, valentines day or when you want to treat yourself. Best part is its very easy to make. Here’s what you’ll need to make this recipe:

How To Make a Cast Iron Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F . Adjust oven rack to middle top position. Grease a 10 inch cast iron skillet with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, add the room temp. butter and brown sugar. With a hand mixer, mix for about 2 minutes or until the mixture becomes creamy. Add in the egg, vanilla extract and mix until combined
  • In a smaller bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon and salt until blended.
  • Add the flour bowl to the sugar bowl. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, mix completely. Fold in the mashed banana into the batter until fully incorporated. Then gently mix in the chocolate chips

  • Evenly pour the batter into the prepared cast iron skillet
  • Bake for 27-33 minutes, rotating the cast iron halfway through, until golden brown and the center is baked through.
  • Enjoy alone or with a scoop of ice cream
