What is a Whoopie Pie?
A whoopie pie is essentially a cookie sandwich with a sweet, fluffy white filling. Normally they are filled with a marshmallow filling, but other kinds of buttercream frostings can also be used as well!
Pillsbury’s Oreo Whoopie Pie Review
I had a box of Pillsbury funfetti Oreo cake mix and decided to make the included whoppie pie recipe on the side of the box and wow… if you love Oreos and vanilla cake, you have got to try this. Especially if you want a tasty dessert that does not require too many ingredients or time.
The Whoopie pie cookie itself has the classic Funfetti vanilla flavor and chunks of Oreo’s mixed into the batter. Of course the frosting tasted wonderful, plus having the extra Oreo’s to coat the outside gave the perfect crunch. The recipe yields 18 Whoopie pies so this would be a perfect dessert for a birthday party!

You only need 5 ingredients:
