Asian Style Sloppy Joes
Asian style sloppy Joes has become a staple weeknight dinner in my household. It’s a delicious twist to everyone’s favorite weeknight dinner!

What makes this recipe so delicious is the sauce which includes ketchup, low sodium soy sauce, hoisin, water and a dash of sriracha.

The best way to enjoy this sloppy joe is to top it with my healthy carrot and Sprouts slaw! Also with a side of homemade wedge fries and you have your self a dinner you’d buy at a cool restaurant!
Asian Sloppy Joes Recipe
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 16 oz ground Turkey
- Canola oil
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 2-3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 Tbsp butter, salted
- Brioche Buns (toasted is recommended )
Sauce ingredients
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tsp hoisin
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional but recommended)
Instructions
- Heat 1 Tbsp of oil on a large pan at medium/high heat. Cook the ground Turkey for 5 minutes. Then add the carrots and cook for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 30 more seconds.
- While the Turkey mixture is cooking, mix together the sauce ingredients. When ready add the sauce to the mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes. Turn of the heat and add the butter. Mix until fully combined and serve with toasted buns.
