Trader Joe’s Canned Vegetarian Chili Review
The canned organic vegetarian chili from Trader Joes is a great base for an easy dinner! Its flavorful, affordable and personally I do doctor it up a bit. I add ground turkey, 1 bouillon cube, some water and of course… toppings!

The Best Chili Toppings
You can not go wrong with diced onions, shredded cheddar cheese and green onions. I do add a bit of spinach for health! And of course….Cornbread is a must. I have been OBSESSED with Pillsbury Cornbread Swirls.

I have been keeping this Trader Joe’s canned Chili in stock in my pantry recently. My easy turkey chili recipe below literally takes 12 minutes to make with pretty much no prep work needed.

Turkey Chili using Trader Joe’s Canned Vegetarian Chili
Servings size 2
Ingredients
- 8 oz ground turkey
- 1 can (14.67 oz) Trader Joe’s organic vegetarian chili
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tsp Cooking oil
- Extra toppings: shredded cheese, cornbread, diced fresh onions, green onions
Instructions
- Add 1 bouillon cube to 1/4 cup water, let it dissolve/break apart.
- add the cooking oil to a large cooking pan over medium high heat.
- Once hot, add the ground turkey, mincing up the meat; cook 6 minutes. Mix in the bouillon cube & water mixture; cook 2 minutes until water has dissolved and meat is full cooked.
- add in the canned chili and fully combine together. Cook 3 minutes until heated.
- Serve with your favorite toppings/sides; chopped onions, shredded cheese, corn bread, chopped spinach or green onions. Enjoy!
